This house was designed as a family retreat in Sidi Bouzid, Tunisia. The outer walls are constructed of stone with a thickness of 500mm.

 

This is in order to cope with the harsh weather, with summer temperatures ranging up to 42 degrees Celsius while winter temperatures may drop below the freezing point.

The house provides a large rood terrace as the summer nights are spent outdoors.
